“My friend referred Tiffany to me when she remembered that I got depressed last year. During this time, I know that I wasn't depressed anymore, but I was going through something and was open and curious about therapy and anything about psychology. I took it. I knew that I somehow needed it. I remember the first time I went, I was stressed and gave out negative energy, as I was fighting for my rights at work and was trying to figure out how to stop pleasing people, because that mostly roots to all the stress that I had been going through.
From the very beginning, I've always felt safe and comfortable with Tiffany. I'm pretty sure that I never filtered my words when talking to her - I'd always been vulnerable. I'd say my words were mostly coming from the extremes, which hinted at my old black-and-white thinking. She's very patient, has great listening skills, and is very kind and understanding. Prior to the therapy, I hadn't had anyone with whom I could open up like I did with Tiffany. It would help because it's her profession, but based on my other friends' comments about therapy in general, it's not that easy to find someone you can truly connect to and who's willing to help you. On some days when I'm counting my blessings, I write them in my journal, and there has always been a special space for Tiffany. (She only knows this now that she sees my testimony.) There was one time that I was surprised she humbly responded she doesn't know [yet] what to do with my case and that she's going to research it. The following session, she already had the answer. I was amazed and impressed. I like how intentional she's been.” -

“We both saw my progress - it showed on my face and my aura, as she said - and a big part of that I credit to her. She's helped me with my goals to know better and discover more about myself. She's both empathetic and logical; it always catches me off guard haha. She's someone who would tell me the truth and facts in a way that makes me want to improve and better myself rather than feel hurt and sulk. There was also a time when I was just so down that I couldn't bring myself to our session, and I was scared to tell her. I felt guilty, especially since we blocked that time with some difficulty. My intuition told me that it should be okay, and with Tiffany, I'm sure she'd understand… and she did. It may seem like a little thing, but to me, it was huge. I needed that space. I needed that reassurance, which I normally wouldn't get from other people. Also, just recently when I've been feeling overwhelmed again, even if we've already finished with the sessions, she still checked in on me, and I really appreciate that. Writing this makes me look back and appreciate how much I've learned and grown, and how much better I've gotten. I'm still working on my own issues, and she's provided me with the practical tools that I can use. To anyone who wants and/or needs it, I highly recommend her to help you, especially if you know that you have mental health issues.”

I’m so glad that I decided to give CBT a try, it was a coincidence how all these came together but I’m so glad that it did.
I have had regular appointments with Tiffany for 10 months now and I have been much more aware of my own emotions, shines light on the darker part that I have avoided and feel lighter since then.
Tiffany has her own unique approach to the session that makes the client feel seen and heard. She gently guided me to explore the different parts of myself and my own emotions and equipped me with tools to accept them. Although there are still many inevitable challenges in life, I do feel like I have learnt the tools to deal with them in a more positive light thanks to the sessions with Tiffany!
